I loved my stay here, especially the short walk to Bishop's Waltham Palace just 0.5 km away and the charming cafes like Julia's Kitchen only a few steps away made my mornings delightful. everything I wanted to explore was so close and accessible, making it perfect for city walks.

The four-poster bed in our spacious room was incredibly comfortable, and the charming period décor added to the nostalgic ambiance. Upon entering, we were welcomed by a warm atmosphere in the bar, enhanced by a live band. Dinner included excellent tartines, paired with good, value-for-money wine. A minor downside was the historical low ceilings in some areas, which might be an issue for taller guests.

We recently enjoyed our stay here, with standout meals, especially the fantastic breakfast with perfect poached eggs and luxurious bathroom in our room. Definitely felt at home!
